WOODBURN RIVERSIDE STREETSCAPE DESIGN

2023 -

Woodburn suffered catastrophic flooding in 2022 and is recovering with services and retail activity returning. Riverside Park on the banks of the picturesque Richmond River is once again a destination for visitors and locals.

Our role is to realise the vision of the Master Plan and stakeholders while managing the resources and expertise required to achieve a sustainable outcome that is an asset for Woodburn and the region. We will be establishing a destination dining and retail precinct through “reinventing the main street from its existing busy thoroughfare dominated by cars and heavy vehicles, to a more intimate and attractive location that balances vehicle access with a stronger pedestrian focus.”

We are achieving this by facilitating and listening to all stakeholders, focusing on the objectives and upgrades already delivered, facilitating the process of stakeholder workshops and finding innovative solutions leading to sustainable outcomes. As the lead consultant we bring a multi-disciplinary team to the project that has the right mix of capability, expertise and experience, leveraged by a strong historical knowledge of the local environment, community and businesses. The team made up of Landscape Architect as design and project lead, Engineers and Surveyors has worked together on The Nimbin Rainbow Road Walking Track, Nimbin Wafinding Project and Farm at Byron.
